Route 840 named dedicated to Officer Corr

New Hartford Police and the Department of Transportation honor fallen Officer Joseph Corr with a permanent memorial. Corr was killed in the line of duty two years ago. On Peace Officers Memorial Day, friends, family and fellow officers dedicated State Route 840 to Corr. Our Iris St. Meran was there for the dedication.

Dunkin Donuts donates to Syracuse Police Department

The Dunkin Donuts chain at James Street and Midler Ave in Syracuse gave the Syracuse Police Department $500 for its Gang Resistance Education and Training Program for youths on Thursday. The three week program is designed to keep children ages 10 to 14 engaged in positive activities and off of the streets.
