BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- Women business owners discovered the importance of networking during a special roundtable presented by the Binghamton University Small Business Development Center.
WBO officials tell us the monthly roundtables are used to help local small businesses expand their opportunities. Historically, networking can produce some of the best business results in a down economy, according to longtime WBO advocates.
"People come with their brochures and business cards and we have tables that they can leave them on. And there's plenty of time for people to have conversations with each other and conduct business and get leads for their businesses," said organizer Ginny Thompson.
The monthly roundtables have been helping small businesses for 22 years.
