ALBANY, N.Y. -- Three major bidders for a racino at the Aqueduct racetrack have presented their cases to state leaders. Delaware North, S.L. Green and Capital Play are all competing for the contract.

Delaware North offered $370 million up front to build the gambling hall. The company said it would give $10 billion in revenue to schools over the next 30 years.

Capital Play offered $100 million up front, and promised $23 billion in school aid over the next 40 years.

Last year, both companies put in bids to take over the racing gaming franchise from NYRA.

The third company, S.L. Green, based out of Manhattan, did not unveil the details of their bid.

Some big names are representing the three companies. Former Spitzer communications director Darren Dopp is representing Delaware North. Former Pataki press secretary Bob Bellafiore represents S.L. Green, and communications consultant and political commentator Hank Sheinkopf is representing Capital Play.
