Crash injures three people
LYNSANDER, N.Y. -- A car and SUV crash in the town of Lysander sending three people to the hospital. It happened on Patchett Road.
The Belgium Cold Springs fire chief said the driver of the car attempted to pass a road sweeper and crashed head-on into the oncoming SUV. The chief says debris from the sweeper made it difficult for the driver of the car to see on-coming traffic.
A woman and her nine-year-old grandson in the car and one person in the SUV were all taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.
