Hankfest to be held this weekend
POTSDAM, N.Y. -- Ives Park in Potsdam is quiet and serene now, but Sunday it will be filled with Hank Williams music. This weekend is the third annual Hankfest.
The event is a tribute to the singer's music and a fundraiser for a local charity. This year, donations will be collected for the Potsdam Humane Society. Hankfest will feature food, contests and of course, music.

"Just to have a good time, get together, that's what we're doing it for, you know. And it goes for a good cause for our dogs and our puppies and our cats,” said John Andrikut, Hankfest assistant organizer.
Hankfest is this Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. in Ives Park, behind the Clarkson Inn.
