Haunted house wedding brings out the ghouls and goblins
OWEGO, N.Y. -- At this wedding, the bride definitely didn't wear white. Modern Bride magazine, meet the new Mrs. Frank Williams.
"It's been a lifelong fantasy for me and he went along with it. I'm evil, I'm dark, I've got a dark heart and this is my favorite holiday, my favorite month," said Dianna Williams nee Long, a hairdresser in Owego.
Long and her now husband had the wedding of their dreams at the Owego haunted house. Not quite the castle at Versailles, but certainly memorable.
"It was something I wanted to do anyway, I've been married before, so why not try something different. Maybe I'll have better luck on Halloween," said Williams.
The couple's been together around five months and loved their one-of-a-kind wedding. But their parents weren't exactly thrilled at first.

"Honestly? They rolled their eyes, you can't be serious, but the people that really know me were like cool, that's so amazing," said the new Mrs. Williams.
Owego Mayor Ed Arrington presided over the ceremony, a mix of the traditional and ghoulish gothic.
"I thought about it for a few seconds, but then I said, well, if they want to get married there that's fine," said Arrington.
And even at a ceremony that featured more blood than bouquet tosses, there was still love and emotion in the air.
"It was like I was telling my wife, when I walked up to them I kind of had little tears in my eyes, but everything went good," said Richard Mundt, a friend of the bride who walked Long down the aisle.
They say the key to a successful marriage is finding things you can share in common, even if it is gore guts. So far, this two seem to be off to a good start.
No word on where the couple might honeymoon, but the reception was held right after the wedding in the haunted house where the bride and groom work as temporary ghouls.
