"Artie's Party" raises money for a good cause
ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- While the Syracuse Nationals is a big boost to the local economy, area charities also benefit. Vehicle pinstripers from around the country have gathered at the Nationals to raise money for the McMahon-Ryan Child Advocacy Site. McMahon-Ryan serves victims of child abuse in Onondaga County.
All weekend long, their work will be on display at "Artie's Party" in the Horticulture Building. There will be auctions every day at 11, 1, and 3.

“For those of you who don't know what pinstriping is, it's all hand-painted fine lines that we do a lot on hot rods, motorcycles, but on your family car. You might have a couple lines down the side of it. Its an old art that started back in Egyptian times. These are all hand painted free hand. Its just amazing to watch these guys do this,” said Art Shilling, Event Organizer.
All of the money raised goes to the McMahon-Ryan Child Advocacy Site.
