Professional boxing bouts head back to Syracuse
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Professional boxing was back in Syracuse for the first time in more than a decade Wednesday night. The Oncenter hosted several bouts, including the pro debut of one of Tim Hill's fighters from the Geneva Boxing Club.
You may remember the Hill family from their experience with the TV show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.” One of the coaches who works alongside Tim Hill says they've worked long and hard to get to this point.

"His first fight, he's been training for this for over 10 years. The first day he walked in the gym ‘till now, he's been training trying to get himself ready for his pro debut,” said coach Chuck Bakogiannis.
Their fighter, Nick Brinson, did win his bout, knocking out his opponent in the first round.
