SUNY Upstate to receive over $300,000 in funding
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- SUNY Upstate is set to receive more than $300,000 from the Department of Health and Human Services.
The money comes from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and will go toward advancing research for the treatment of heart-related birth defects. One project at Upstate focuses on mechanisms that control heart development to identify genes that may aid in diagnosis, treatment or prevention of congenital heart disease.
