The Getaway Guy goes golfing

Getaway is all about golf this time and there is a lot of golf at the Turning Stone Resort in Verona, N.Y.

There is Sandstone Hollow, which is a par three course. It’s one of five courses to choose from. There is a domed driving range with 40 separate hitting stations.

The Turning Stone features 18 PGA level holes in a wooded setting. Atunyote at Turning Stone is a Tom Fazio designed course with touches you won’t find anywhere else. Pleasant Knowls and the Robert Trent Jones Jr. Kaluhyat bring it to a total of five courses.

It’s easy to get to as it’s right off the NYS Thruway in Verona. Take exit 33.
