There are plenty of locals guys to keep an eye on at this weekend’s Dicks Sporting Goods Open at En-Joie. But there is one less. Jeff Sluman withdrew from the Champions tour event because of weather related travel issues.

But there are plenty of guys with ties to New York in the field this year including two who are rookies on the Senior Tour this year. Joey Sindelar from Horseheads and Mike Hulbert from Elmira, both are former champions of the BC open.

R.W. Eaks is the defending champ of the event, and it makes sense that the guy who won the event is a huge fan of this gold course, while New Hartford Wayne Levi likes coming back to Central New York.
