LISBON, N.Y. -- The Lisbon teacher accused of having sex with one of her students has been offered a plea deal by the district attorney's office. Christel Gravlin, 33, admitted to having an affair with a 15-year-old student last November.

Gravlin was asked to plea to one count of rape in the third degree. The charge carries a possible sentence of one to four years in a state prison. Gravlin could, however, serve no time in state prison if the court decides she should serve time in the local jail or be put on probation.

Her court date is scheduled for March 3rd.
