Employees file lawsuit against hospitals
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- More than 200 employees have filed a lawsuit against three Central New York hospitals. Hourly employees from Crouse and St. Joseph's hospitals in Syracuse and Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford claim the hospitals did not properly compensate them for hours worked.

The employees say the hospitals broke state labor laws by automatically deducting money from their paychecks for lunch breaks, even though the employees say they frequently worked through those breaks. Many of the employees are nurses.
