Soldier's calling hours planned for Monday
OTSEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- Friends and family are getting ready to say goodbye to a fallen soldier from Burlington Flats. Army Corporal Michael Mayne, 21, was killed February 23rd in Baghdad, Iraq.
Mayne had been serving overseas since October and was scheduled to come home in May. He was a graduate from Edmenston Central School in 2006, where his funeral will take place on Tuesday.

Calling hours will be Monday from 2-8 p.m. at Burlington Flats Baptist Church. Mayne is the first soldier from Otsego County killed in Iraq or Afghanistan.
