One last gathering of Syracuse China employees
ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Former Syracuse China employees stopped by the Mattydale VFW for a closing party Friday night. The last shift ended Friday morning, putting an end to more than 130 years of china production at the plant. The parent company is moving the more than 200 jobs overseas.
Employees said the party is way to remember all the good times they had together.

Syracuse China will continue shipping orders through the end of June. The factory outlet store remains open, for now.
