Ryan Peterson is an anchor at News 10 Now. He was born and raised in Pittsfield, Mass. From crime to the arts, from politics to the circus, Ryan has covered it all.
In October 2005, Ryan’s hard work was recognized when the Berkshire County Red Cross presented him with its Communication Excellence Award.
Ryan began his broadcast career in New York City in 1999 as an NBC Page. During his tenure at the “peacock”, Ryan worked on such shows as NBC Nightly News, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, the Rosie O’Donnell Show and Saturday Night Live.
Ryan also worked at ABC News as a production coordinator for 20/20 and PrimeTime. While there he worked on the division’s 24-hour coverage of the millennium celebration and the aftermath of September 11th.
Ryan graduated from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont with a degree in journalism.
An avid skier, Ryan can be found on the slopes of western Massachusetts and southern Vermont whenever the weather permits.
