JEFFERSON COUNTY, N.Y. -- State Police and Customs agents make a big drug bust at the Canadian border. Agents stopped Guglielmo D'ettorre, 21, of Quebec coming into the United States through Wellesly Island. Inside his car they found 119 pounds of high-grade marijuana.
State Troopers later searched his home in Richland and found more than $82,000 in cash. D'ettore is charged with criminal possession of marijuana.
During the investigation, Troopers also arrested Anthony Paris, 21, and Francis Tremblay, 24, both from Montreal, Canada, charging them with conspiracy and money laundering.
All three are being held at the Jefferson County Public Safety Building.
