SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Onondaga Community College held its 45th commencement Saturday. Hundreds of students crossed the stage at the War Memorial to receive their degrees.

OCC also gave honorary degrees to former County Executives John Mulroy and Nick Pirro. One student shared her post-graduation plans with News 10 Now.

"I took the civil service exam for law enforcement and the Trooper's exam so I want to continue to live in Syracuse and Onondaga County and help New York State become a better place,” said Sarah Carlson, Class of 2008 Graduate.
