TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former Ithaca College employee accused of stealing more than $371,000 from the college was arraigned in Tompkins County Court on Tuesday.

Wendy Travis of Candor has been charged with second degree larceny. She was the director of event planning and special programs and was let go by the college in November of last year.

In court Tuesday, Travis' attorney requested that a pre-plea investigation be conducted. A probation officer will do a background check on Travis and recommend a sentencing to the judge.
