POTSDAM, N.Y. -- St. Lawrence County wants your hazardous waste. The county's hazardous household waste collection day is Saturday, August 2nd.
County officials say residents can dispose of items such as electronics, pesticides, cleaning products, batteries and pool chemicals. The collection is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Potsdam Municipal Airport. If you're dropping off materials you should use the Damon Field entrance right off Route 11B.
Officials say this will be the last hazardous waste collection day this year.
