Ithaca teacher case sent to county court in Penn.

TOMPKINS COUNTY -- The case of an Ithaca High School teacher and coach accused of sex crimes is being sent to county court in Pennsylvania.


Darin Strong appeared in Tyrone Town Court on Monday.


Strong is accused of having sexual conversations with a Pennsylvania resident who he believed was a 13-year-old girl.

The district court said one charge of criminal attempt of indecent exposure was dropped Monday.

The other three criminal charges have been sent to Blair County Court. This is where Strong's next formal arraignment is expected on Oct. 17.
