OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- Dozens of dogs and their owners gather in Breitbeck Park for the annual Paws in the Park dog walk. The two mile walk around Lake Ontario is sponsored every year by the Oswego County SPCA.
All proceeds from the walk benefit the SPCA and will be used to help feed and care for all the animals. Volunteers said they are desperate to find new homes for the animals because they are running out of space, especially with the recent additions from the Palermo home.

"We're probably look at about 200 cats just because of that recent influx. We're still getting cats out of that house, so, you know, every day we're getting more, and we've just taken them all and we're gonna place them and find homes for all of them,” said Tanya Semchenko, volunteer.
