POTSDAM, N.Y. -- The Town of Potsdam is hoping to come up with a new plan after voters made it clear back in April they didn't want a new $3.2 million town hall. The old town hall on Market Street has major structural problems. But voters overwhelmingly voted no against borrowing money to build a new hall.
Now town officials will consider other options. They have tentatively set a meeting with Potsdam and Norwood village officials for early June to discuss a new plan.

The town could potentially lose hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant money that had been secured for the new hall.
