POTSDAM, N.Y. -- It's a busy weekend in Potsdam as new and returning students move in to SUNY Potsdam and Clarkson University.
The weekend is filled with information sessions, tours, and meet and greets to help students get situated.
Incoming freshman at both universities moved in Friday, and returning students will come back throughout the weekend.

“The first year away at school isn't always easy, so both campuses are trying to make freshman feel at home. " Make sure everybody gets their room keys, signs up for all of the programs we have going on and then eventually up in their rooms we help people move in and make sure they're all situated in their room," said Brian Lotze, a SUNY Potsdam RA.
"I got here last Saturday for soccer and I was a little nervous because there was nobody here, and I was like, 'oh boy, I'm kind of alone,’ and so this week was rough. But now that I got back from soccer I'm really excited to see people, so I'm definitely excited now," said Courtney Green, a freshman at Clarkson University.
Classes begin for both Clarkson and SUNY Potsdam on Monday.
