A self-described "geek lite," Nancy fell in love with computers when a college classmate described her as illogical, and challenged her to take a course in computing. Granted, it was the days of Hollerith cards, but she has been fascinated with computers and technology ever since. (And she passed the course!)
Working as a television producer, she soon moved to non-linear (computer-based) editing, and was also fortunate enough to have taken part in Time Warner's Point 'n' Click show, a weekly television call-in dedicated to answering viewer questions about computers and technology. And beginning with a Tandy TRS-80, there has been at least one computer in the house ever since.
Currently, Nancy works in the interactive industry, producing websites, CDs and online applications. In addition to writing this weekly column, she also writes a monthly column for the local feature paper, Tablehopping.
