Paterson "outraged" no women nominated for chief judge
Governor David Paterson said he's "outraged" there are no women on the short list to become New York's next chief judge, and he's asking AG Andrew Cuomo to investigate legal alternatives to the choices offered by the Commission on Judicial Nomination.

Obama meets with governors
President-elect Barack Obama turned his attention back to the economy Tuesday, meeting with Governor Paterson and other Governors to figure out how to help states get through the recession. Michael Scotto was in Philadelphia and has the story.

Governor accepts final report on property tax relief
Governor David Paterson accepted a final report on cutting property taxes in New York State on Monday. The report was presented by Commission Chairman and Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi and members of the commission.

No decision yet from Gov. Paterson on Clinton's Senate seat
The speculation will continue now for weeks on who Hillary Clinton's replacement will be in the Senate, but the ultimate decision is up to the Governor. Now the big question becomes not who Paterson will pick, but when he will formally make his selection. Clinton visits senior center on Thanksgiving
As we await official word on whether Hillary Clinton will be nominated the next secretary of state, the senator wasn't commenting on speculation during her Thanksgiving holiday. She took some time out to visit a senior center in Brooklyn.
