NEW YORK STATE -- The race for Joe Bruno's Senate seat is heating up. Three contenders are vying for the spot on the Democratic side. Mike Russo, Brian Premo, and Saratoga Springs Supervisor Joanne Yepsen have been out campaigning for individual support.
On the other side of the aisle, two candidates are looking to fill the seat. Town of Nassau Councilman Ray Seney and Wilton Assemblyman Roy McDonald announced their intentions to run last week.
Seney also served a term as Town Supervisor. He is expected to make the official announcement Wednesday. McDonald has already received a huge endorsement from Senator Bruno himself.
