Each year the Onondaga-Oswego chapter of the American Red Cross honors ordinary citizens for doing extraordinary deeds at their annual Real Heroes Breakfast. As is our tradition here at News 10 Now, we are pleased to present you with the stories of some of the heroes being honored this year. We begin today with the gentleman being honored as the 2008 Industrial Real Hero.

Earlier in the week News 10 Now reporter Giselle Phelps told you about a home the Marcellus Girls Soccer Team is building for a Hurricane Katrina victim in suburban New Orleans. The team was down in the Gulf Coast with a group of volunteers from Operation Southern Comfort. The girls are back in Central New York and Giselle was there as they arrived. She tells us what they're saying about the experience.

A lot love is flowing from Ithaca all the way down to New Orleans and it’s happening through a group called Love Knows No Bounds. We first introduced you to the group last year. Our Giselle Phelps was down in New Orleans earlier this week and has a follow up on this special relationship.

Rebuilding for a rescuer is what a group of Central New Yorkers are doing in the New Orleans area this week. News 10 Now's Giselle Phelps has a second report on another Operation Southern Comfort project.
