SU has CBA connection on offense
08/29/2008 11:18 AM
By: Web Staff

The wait is almost over for the SU football team. They'll head to Chicago on Friday for a walk through at Northwestern’s Ryan Field. Our Mark Larson will be there and have a report from Chicago Friday night.

Two guys who will be on the field at the same time in the season opener on Saturday are a pair of high school teammates. Lavar Lobdell and Bruce Williams are both expected to help the Orange passing game this season, even if Williams has only been a wide out for two weeks since moving back from safety. When the former CBA Brothers are on the field together, it will feel like old times. Throw freshman Marcus Sales into the mix and it's a CBA trifecta on offense.
