OHIO -- Whoever you think the greatest wide receiver in NFL history is, you have to include Art Monk in the conversation. Monk held most of the NFL receiving records at one time during his career.
On Saturday night, Monk took his well deserved place in the Hall of Fame.
Monk was a star at Syracuse University before there was a Carrier Dome and he won a pair of Super Bowls with the Redskins. He was a three time pro bowler in Washington.
Among the other hall of fame inductees in the class of 2008 is Monk's teammate in Washington Darrell Green.
