Preparedness Training Center getting upgrades

ORISKANY, N.Y. -- The State Preparedness Training Center in Oneida County is getting some upgrades. The facility at the former county airport is used to help first responders throughout the state with training methods.

The state will begin renovations it this summer that will add more classrooms and training space outdoors. It's part of a lease agreement finalized Thursday between the state and the county.
