UTICA, N.Y. -- It's a day full of winter activities and it's all for a good cause. The 14th annual Snowfari was held in Utica Saturday and the weather couldn't have been better.
Nearly 1,500 people came out and there was something for everyone to enjoy, from live animals, to live music, to a variety of outdoor activities. All the money raised goes to help out the Utica Zoo.
"The funding for this program, this event tends to go towards supporting the direct care of the animals; putting in the feed stocks for the large carnivores, and the frozen fish for the sea lions and that kind of thing," said Beth Irons, Executive Director of the Utica Zoo.
