SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Three Syracuse men have been arrested, accused of being part of one of the area's largest gambling rings.
The Albany Times Union is reporting that George Bedigian, 63, Salvatore Tumino, 70, and Michael Losurdo, 41, were involved in a $50 million Internet sports betting operation that began in September 2006. The raid ultimately netted 12 men and one woman.
The paper reports Bedigian was named as one of two ring leaders in the operation. He and Losurdo face charges of enterprise corruption. Tumino is charged with money laundering.
