State funding pushes planning for a Binghamton University Law School forward. Three-million dollars in state aid dedicated to the Law School will help in the beginning stages.
"This $3 million will allow the university to begin overall planning and designing of what we would have to convince the trustees of the State University of New York system that Binghamton is the right place for a new law school under the SUNY system," said Libous.
Senator Libous says the law school could have an economic impact of tens of millions of dollars for the Southern Tier.
