ALBANY, N.Y. – During an appearance at a ceremony at the Police Officers Memorial in Albany, Senate Majority Leader Joe Bruno said he spoke to Governor Patterson, who's recovering from laser eye surgery.
The Governor says he's feeling much better and wanted Bruno to wish everyone well.
"I talked to the Governor, just before I came over, he never sounded better, never sounded stronger, has no pain and expressed as Denise indicated on his behalf, just wonderful words of comfort, a beautiful message and support and best regards," said Bruno.
Patterson, who's legally blind, was admitted to a New York City hospital complaining of severe migraine-like symptoms. It was discovered glaucoma in his left eye was causing the problem.
