CLAY, N.Y. -- Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man they say assaulted another man in an apparent road rage incident in the town of Clay. It happened at the intersection of Lawton Road and Fortuna Parkway around 2:45 Saturday morning.

Investigators say Christopher Pedro, 28, was exiting Route 81 in Cicero when an SUV allegedly cut him off. Pedro told deputies that he continued home, but realized that the SUV was following him.

He told investigators that the SUV passed him and stopped, and the driver approached his car and they got into a fight. That's when the man allegedly cut Pedro's face, arm and shoulder with a knife.

Pedro drove home, where he called 911. He was taken to University Hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

If you have any information, call the Onondaga County Sheriff's office at (315) 425-2111.
