Police looking for man's son after stabbing

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are looking for an 18-year-old they say stabbed his father at 219 Woodland Avenue Thursday night.

Mark Scott, 48, told police that his son, Peter Scott, stabbed him after an argument around 11 p.m. Mark Scott was taken to University Hospital with cuts to the head, neck and torso. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Peter Scott is facing charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Stabbing sends one to hospital
