SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man is sentenced for shooting another man in the face. Marcus Delee, 33, received a 12-year sentence for assault charges. Police say Delee shot Quinn Phipps, 21, in the face during a dice game in the city last November.
In court on Friday DeLee expressed remorse for his actions.
“Mr. Delee, he accepts full responsibility for his actions, he feels extreme remorse, he has a long history of substance abuse, and this incident was fueled by a substance abuse binge," said defense attorney Patricia Campbell.
