JEFFERSON COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Michigan woman who plead guilty last month to killing her newborn baby will be sentenced Monday in Jefferson County. Andrea Kline is expected to get a year in jail and five years probation.
It was in February of last year when Kline was at the Best Western Carriage House in Watertown when she gave birth to a baby boy. The child died of blunt force trauma that resulted in a skull fracture and bleeding in the brain. The body of the child was found by police in the trash can of a nearby room.
