MUNNSVILLE, N.Y. - Members of the American Legion Riders Post 54 in Munnsville presented a check worth $20,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York Sunday afternoon.

The money was raised during their annual Wish Ride held back in August.

With the average cost per wish nearing $6,500, every dollar counts, and members of the Make-A-Wish Foundation say they're thrilled by the riders' generosity.

"Make-A-Wish Foundation doesn't limit the number of wishes that we'll do in a year, nor do we put a cap on the financial cost of a wish. So thanks to their generosity and their commitment to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, we can continue to say yes to the dreams of kids living with life threatening medical conditions," said Diane Kuppermann, president of the Make-A-Wish Foundation for Central New York.
