MALONE, N.Y. -- October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and to help spread awareness, ComLinks, a local non-profit domestic violence intervention program, is hosting a rally tonight.
Last year ComLinks assisted 1,700 domestic violence victims in Franklin County alone and the organization wants the community to be aware of the services it offers.
The rally will feature a speech by Assemblywoman Janet Duprey as well as a music video that shows the faces of domestic violence. It starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Arsenal Green in Malone and lasts until 6:30.
For more information about the rally or the services ComLinks provides you can call (518) 483-1261.
