DEWITT, N.Y. -- A garage in DeWitt this weekend benefitted a young Liverpool girl with cancer. The Holy Cross Youth group organized the event to raise funds for the girl.
Bianca Bresadola has Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer.
The sale was held Saturday and Sunday, and the money will help her family pay for medical expenses.

The Youth Minister of Holy Cross says the event was thought up by a teenager, and it shows that teens care about others in their community.
"It makes us feel like we can actually make a difference in the world. So many times you hear that teenagers can't make a difference and that they're just learning how to go through life and just doing work and sports. But we had kids here all week, donating and sorting,” said Andrea Jacobs, Holy Cross Youth Minister.
Organizers say they raised over $3,000 on Saturday alone.
