Toussaint Davis now faces identity theft charge

The man convicted for his role in a police officer's death now faces identity theft charges. Toussaint Davis, 39, has been accused of taking the name and identity of John Healy when he was arrested last year after the shooting death of New Hartford Police Officer Joseph Corr.

The man convicted for his role in a police officer's death now faces identity theft charges. Toussaint Davis, 39, has been accused of taking the name and identity of John Healy when he was arrested last year after the shooting death of New Hartford Police Officer Joseph Corr.
Dairy in Kirkland the night of February 27, 2006. He was also convicted on several counts for the robbery at Lennon's W.B. Wilcox Jewelery in New Hartford, which took place just minutes before the shooting.

When he was arrested, Davis told police his name was John Healy. Before sentencing, it was discovered his real name is Toussaint Davis.

Davis was sentenced last month to 300 years in prison and could get 11 more years if convicted on ID theft charges.
