PHILADELPHIA, PA. -- A guilty plea from the man who supplied the gun used in the shooting death of New Hartford Police Officer Joseph Corr. Corr was shot during a pursuit following the robbery of Lennon's W.B. Wilcox Jewelry store in February of 2006.
Michael Flamer, 22, of Chester, Pennsylvania pleaded guilty in federal Court to one count of dealing in firearms without a license and 13 counts of falsely completing federal firearms forms.
New Hartford Police Chief Raymond Philo said an investigation into the robbery found that Flamer purchased the gun for Walter Richardson and that Richardson used it during the robbery and the shooting of Officer Corr that followed.

That same gun was used to shoot at police when they tried to apprehend Richardson in Pennsylvania. Richardson was shot and killed.
Flamer will be sentenced in Philadelphia in March.
