Adam Falcon
ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A partial court settlement in a civil lawsuit involving the alcohol-related death of college student Adam Falcon.
The 22-year-old St. Lawrence University student was missing for nearly a week before his body was found. Authorities ruled the death accidental, but said Falcon had been drinking before his death.
Police say Falcon drank at a campus residence hall and then drank at the Tick Tock Inn using a borrowed ID. He later fell in the Grasse River and drowned.
A $100,000 out-of-court settlement was reached with Elizabeth Masterson, a fellow St. Lawrence student accused of giving Falcon alcohol at a residence hall party. The civil lawsuit also names several other Saint Lawrence students, the university and the bar for "negligence and recklessness."
