BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- If you enjoyed this year's Binghamton Air Show, you already have something to look forward to for next year. County officials announced the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, one of the most venerable aerial display teams, will headline the show in 2009. The Blue Angels will fly the F-18 Hornets. It'll be a show one official says, won't disappoint.
"They have done shows across the country to millions and millions of fans and the people of Binghamton and the surrounding areas are going to be extremely impressed," said Carl Beardsley, Broome County Commissioner of Aviation.
Next year's air show is on July 4th and 5th.
