Residents critical at gas drilling hearing

The DEC may have finished its public comment hearings on gas drilling, but that didn't stop more than a thousand people from gathering at the State Theatre in Ithaca to voice their opinion Thursday night.

Cornell University Police have announced a new joint patrol plan with the Ithaca Police Department. The two forces will jointly patrol the Cornell campus, the Collegetown area and other nearby areas.

Penn Traffic files for bankruptcy

NEW YORK

Penn Traffic has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. The company, which is based in Syracuse and owns the P&C, Quality and BiLo supermarket chains, says they have filed for bankruptcy protection in order to facilitate the sale of its stores and assets.

The Syracuse University women's basketball team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 74-66 win over Alabama State Thursday night at Manley Field House.

Top recruit chooses Tennessee over Syracuse

Testimony wraps up in Joe Bruno trial

FAA says flight computers working again
