POTSDAM, N.Y. -- National Grid has created a $350,000 sustainable energy endowment at Clarkson University. The Fund for Student Research Opportunities in Sustainable Energy was announced Monday.

National Grid will annually fund up to five summer research opportunities for Clarkson Honor Students focusing on sustainable energy.

University President Tony Collins believes these type of partnerships will benefit both the students and the nation's energy consumers.
